Tri-County Adult U23 League selects first Six teams

Miami, Florida -The Tri-County U-23 League announced Saturday the first 6 of the 8 teams that will be participating in this year’s Clausura 2008 which is scheduled to start September 6, 2008 at The Hideout at Msgr. Pace in north Miami Dade county.

  • Seleccion Miami (USA)
  • Juniors Atlantico (Colombia)
  • Miami Boca Juniors (Argentina)
  • Lauderhill Lions (Haiti)
  • BFUT (Brazil)
  • Seleccion Jamaica Lions (Jamaica)

        Over thirty eight teams representing the multi-ethnic soccer community from all over south Florida applied for a slot in the league.  The two remaining slots will be determined by the League Board of Directors by Wednesday August 13.

        The Tri-County U-23, which is affiliated with US Club Soccer, will feature some of south Florida’s most talented developmental players in an eight team round robin tournament which will end with the Championship Game on December 21, 2008. All games will be played at the Hideout Soccer Complex every Saturday and Sunday beginning at 6:00 and 8:00pm.

Tri-County Youth Early Season begins August 23

The 4th annual Tri-County League Early season for boys and girls ages 9-14 will begin on August 23, 2008. Last year over 70 teams and 25 clubs from South Florida made the Tri-County League their perferred early season youth competitive league.

Archbishop Jubilee Soccer Cup

The Hideout Soccer Complex will be hosting several games of the Archbishop Jubilee Soccer Cup starting in July 2008. The six team church league is organized by Father Fritzner Bellonce and features members from Notre Dame, St. Bartholomew, Sacred Heart, Cathedral St. Mary, St. James and St. Joseph .

Pardon Our Mess
If you have noticed a lot of commotion around the entrance to the Hideout its because of the construction crews that are hard at work on completing new restrooms for our facilities.  The restrooms are a part of the Entrance remodeling project currently under way at the Hideout.  The project, which is designed to provide visitors better services and accommodations, includes:

  • Ladies and Men’s Restroom
  • Handicap Restroom
  • Concession Remodeling and seating area
  • New Visitors center and Information Tent
  • Vendors Village
  • New Entrance Landscaping
  • Picnic area remodeling
The construction is all part of the Hideout’s continual plan to improve its facility into a top notch soccer complex and training center.  Construction is schedule to be completed in the early summer and will be ready for the Tri-County Early Season in August.
